Avoiding negativity and staying true to yourself

This week I have found myself spouting that old chestnut ‘life is too short’ on repeat to myself and to my best friends. Those 4 little words couldn’t be more true and it’s great to remind ourselves during periods of negativity, drama or stress that there really is so much more to life than silly spats and unnecessary negativity. Blogging for the right reasons

Over a month has passed since my last post, and with good reason. Sometimes, there is a lot going on in your life and you simply have to prioritise things and relieve the pressure you’re putting on yourself to get everything done and be super successful. So lately, I have prioritised my study sessions, heading out for walks with my tunes in and doing things that have helped me stay calm and not lose the plot (reading a good book and watching Love Island to name a couple – no judgements here!). Over 19 months later, we reunited and made the trip down to the coast and had such a fun weekend exploring what this vibrant place had to offer Continue reading

A brilliant Bank Holiday: Blenheim food festival

It’s been 3 days since the bank holiday weekend and I’m still thinking of the food festival me and Lucy went to at Blenheim Palace on Monday. No, we’re not the ‘getting-drunk-in-the-club’ types. We love food. FREE food. So this bank holiday, we were our true foodie selves and hit the freebies at the festival, all in the beautiful setting of Blenheim Palace.
