Pura Vida you lovely lot! Something I’ve been hashtagging the sh*t out of these past two weeks whilst living it up in Costa Rica with my best friend Sally. It means ‘pure life’ or ‘simple life’ but is ultimately a way of life. The Costa Rican culture and people had us enthralled from the start, and visiting a new place never fails to get me excited and appreciating things outside my little bubble. Fast forward to 2017 and I have 10 solo flights under my belt, 2 of those long haul, as well as a host of touring trips where I knew nobody at the start – scary, daunting but amazing all at once! Solo travel was one of my favourite experiences of my life so far and as cliché as it sounds, I definitely grew as a person in those 6 months completely by myself.
