If you’ve read any of my past travel posts by now, you’ll know I LOVE a girly holiday. When we knew our lovely Emma was returning for a few weeks from New Zealand, we arranged a cheapy weekend away in sunny Somerset. We chose a caravan holiday because a) they’re so fun! and b) I get a discount through work for our great Haven sites all around the country. Continue reading
Another month has gone by and we’re now in June! Not sure how that happened, but my month started in the best way with a spontaneous trip to Brighton for the weekend with Danny who I met on the Kiwi Bus in New Zealand way back at the end of 2016! Over 19 months later, we reunited and made the trip down to the coast and had such a fun weekend exploring what this vibrant place had to offer Continue reading
After our week of adventure touring the gorgeous Costa Rica, it was time for some R&R at the Riu Guanacaste, in Playa Matapolo. For starters, we were upgraded to a family room with side sea view which was beautiful. I’ve never been to such a big hotel before. I’ve put together a post about where we went and some tips for if you go yourself! Why not go and watch the video I created over on my YouTube channel HERE – and I’ll love you forever if you subscribe whilst you’re there 😊
With only 6 days until me and Sally jet off to Costa Rica for 2 weeks of sun, sea and plenty of exploring, I wanted to put together my tips for travelling long haul – a kind of tick list I’ve gone through prior to getting on that plane.

However, a long weekend with my best friends has reignited my want to share the good with you all and there is nothing like a prosecco-fuelled life discussion in a hot tub to get my brain back in the game! A festive city break mid-December was definitely in order and I was really excited about spending it in Liverpool. Me and Luce made our way to Merseyside to explore what the city has to offer and visit Lucy’s sister Zoe who studies there. Here’s what we got up to… Continue reading
