A brilliant Bank Holiday: Blenheim food festival

It’s been 3 days since the bank holiday weekend and I’m still thinking of the food festival me and Lucy went to at Blenheim Palace on Monday. No, we’re not the ‘getting-drunk-in-the-club’ types. We love food. FREE food. So this bank holiday, we were our true foodie selves and hit the freebies at the festival, all in the beautiful setting of Blenheim Palace.

Theatre, Food & Quite a bit of Culture Actually

This week was a good one, I visited a nice hotel for work, got a free bottle of prosecco in a conference goodie bag (yes, really.) and had two trips to the theatre! At Aylesbury Waterside Theatre I went to see The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time and in London’s West End I saw Aladdin. Oh.my.days. My Famous Brownies to Feed the Soul

Everyone has that one dish they love to cook or that one dessert they get a lotta praise for. Well this is my ‘signature bake’ if you will. Lots of tins of these delicious triple chocolate brownies have made their way into the office, to family gatherings and get togethers with friends. With it being winter, I thought it the perfect time to share my tried and tested brownie recipe to feed your soul and bring warmth to your heart (and heaps of chocolate to your tummy).
