Amsterdam City Break Look Book

After the success of showcasing my summer Cyprus wardrobe, I thought I’d put together my Amsterdam outfits in one post as I really enjoyed planning (and wearing!) my clothes during this action-packed city break!

All About The Brights

Comfort is SO key on a city break, especially when you’re walking 15000 steps around the city every day! So I tried to pick outfits that went well with my comfiest shoes – my black Nike roshe’s. My misguided black ripped jeans are stretchy and high waisted, put with this thin yellow jumper from new look and my red Zara bucket bag, I felt bright, cute AND comfy.

The Lumberjack Look

If you want versatile layers that don’t make you sweat as you wander around a new city (we’ve all been there!) then a shirt is a great option! This is an Asda gem from George and I’ve had it about 5 years but I love the print and it goes with pretty much any pair of jeans. I teamed it with a simple white tee and my ripped blue New Look jeans. My sturdy Nike’s got another day out here too.

Night Out Time

I wanted something comfy but which I could also dress up. I picked up this cross-front tawny brown t-shirt from New Look a couple of weeks back and thought it would pair nicely with my ripped missguided jeans and the comfiest heels in the world – my new look  brown strappy sandals! I wore these A LOT in Cyprus, check out my outfits HERE!

Sunday Funday

I LOVE this Funday jumper (yep, you guessed it – from New Look!) and was dying to wear it. I paired it with my comfy blue NL jeans and Nikes for the Heineken tour and pedalo hire we were gonna be enjoying that day! It’s super cute, super comfy and a bit different! Don’t be scared of bold colours and the odd slogan. Rock it!

Sunday Funday Take Two (aka Monday)

I re-wore this jumper with my culottes for a bit of a different look. I also gave my converse an outing in the city. This was very quirky for me but, I liked going out of my comfort zone with my clothes for a change.
