Cyprus Summer Lookbook

After a beautiful week away full of friends, food, fun and sun, I thought ‘why not do a little reccy of all my outfits?’ and keep the tan alive that little bit longer. Shout out to my paparazzi Sally for getting these shots every day on the balcony!

Maxi Skirt (Belly Dancer Inspired)

I picked this aztec print skirt up from Primark for a tenner and teamed it with a mandala print black halter neck from Boohoo. You can see me being an absolute nutter letting out my inner belly dancer in the holiday video HERE.

Kudos to the Culottes

This outfit is sponsored by New Look. These culottes are super comfy and skim the hips, great for a pear shape like me. I teamed the stripes with this ditsy flowery print Bardot top. Clashing prints and everything – I’m so WILD! Trusty tanned heels from New Look too – they go with everything.

A Can’t-Pee-Playsuit

I actually picked this playsuit up in Primark in Portsmouth for a fiver way back in December, promptly forgot all about it then unearthed it when trying to find outfits for holiday. Yes, it’s black. But it’s very forgiving and the red flower embroidery is a nice touch too, which I matched with some flowers in my braids. This playsuit is one of those rare gems you find in the rabbit-warren that is Primark.

Bardot Denim

The last minute buy from New Look on the day before we flew, this off the shoulder ruffled denim-style dress is a nice length and can be dressed up or down. It doesn’t have to be off the shoulder either, so whatever works for you. It’s super comfy and I can’t wait to wear it in Amsterdam too with some converse. I teamed it with a lacy white choker to match the trim on my dress.

Whoever Said You Can’t Wear Vertical Stripes is a LIAR

Another New Look buy here – what can I say, the majority of their clothes are true to size and fit me well! This cold shoulder stripy dress is stretchy (win win for all inclusive dinners) but really comfy whilst still being figure hugging.

I also had took 6 bikinis with me (variety is the spice of life so they say) so I’ve included some of my favourites:

Stripe Hype

We joked that this was my deck chair print bikini. I love the style though, a top that crosses over under the bust and keeps my tuts safely held in, the tie waist bottoms and overall 50s vibe made me feel comfortable and confident. This one is from New Look, I managed to get it on sale and I saw it was still in the sale this weekend – woo! (Note: this was day 1 of the holibobs, so no tan yet).

Fluorescent Ripcurl

I got this bright orange set from Ripcurl when I was in Cairns, Austalia. They have a crossover back and fitted bottoms (they’re the ones that actually mould to your bum – GAMECHANGER! I no longer look like I’m wearing a nappy) and it’s really comfy and great with a tan.

Candy Striped Set

This set can be a bandeau or has a strap to make us busty gals feel a bit more secure. I loved the pastel colours on this one, shoutout to Boohoo. (Feat. office rose gold sliders).

Tropical Print

An oldie but a goodie. This bandeau tropical print bikini from New Look (yes, again!) is a few years old now but I like how easy it is to slip on for a day’s sunbathing.

So there we have it, a little summary of my holiday wardrobe. What are you must-take pieces for a summer trip?

With love (most of it for clothes right now)…

Tiff
