After a beautiful week away full of friends, food, fun and sun, I thought ‘why not do a little reccy of all my outfits?’ and keep the tan alive that little bit longer. Shout out to my paparazzi Sally for getting these shots every day on the balcony!
Chuck together your two best friends, an all inclusive hotel with strong cocktails, complete nuttiness and a special birthday and what do you get? A mental girly holiday of course! We packed our bags and headed to the Paphos region of Cyprus; Sal & Liss have been 11 times between them (!) but this was my first time to the Cypriot coast and it was the perfect place to enjoy an uninterrupted week away from the usual routine that is everyday life.
I’ve pretty much been packed for Cyprus for a week already (can you tell I’m super excited?!) but today was all about getting together those little essentials that make your suitcase more complete.
Right, so this is an honest post about the struggle to feel ‘bikini ready’ for my upcoming holibobs to Cyprus. This is for anyone having any doubts about getting on that sun lounger, strolling into the sea or chilling in the pool and feeling anxious about it. For as long as I can remember, I have felt on the chubbier side of my ideal weight and a bit conscious about letting most of me be on show when in my bikini. Recently, I’ve been quite hard on myself about my looks and it’s getting me nowhere. So today – whilst packing for my holiday (10 days early but IDGAF) – I tried on my bikinis and told myself what I DO like about my body, and I already feel that little bit better about getting my body out this summer. Where did June go!? I’ve not written in 2 weeks and it feels so strange! I have been a busy bee and have so much to talk about!
